December 7 marked the launch of the “Palau Pledge” – the world’s first conservation pledge that is stamped directly into visitors’ passports.
Palau is a globally-recognized leader in ocean conservation, and this pledge reminds everyone about the responsibility this generation has to the next to protect and preserve the planet.
When you arrive in Palau, your passport will be stamped and you will get to sign the pledge – acknowledging that the stewardship of Palau’s coral reefs belong to all who visit too.
We are so proud to be part of the Palau Pledge and the Palau Legacy Project, which works to help the children of Palau have a voice in protecting their home and their reefs. To learn more, and sign the pledge yourself, please visit the website!
